With passion for eyewear

Sisters Debbie and Linda created the Evoluer design out of necessity. We were always misplacing our readers, so we came up with this idea so that you would always have your eyewear available because you are wearing it!

Many have asked us how we got the name Evoluer. We went through hundreds of words. After many failed choices, I sat at the computer and started searching the internet. Understanding that the readers change from a necklace to a clipped broach, I started looking for similar words for "change". The french word meaning "to change" or "to evolve" being "Evoluer"

We couldn't have gotten this far if it hadn't been for our relationship with Patrick Ho of Rochester Optical.  He liked our idea, believed in us, and has helped us to bring our idea to market. For that, we are very grateful.  We look forward to developing more ideas and bringing them to you in the future.  Finally, an idea has become reality, now you can wear your eyewear everyday. Only you will know they are readers, although once others know, they'll want a pair too!
